Rock n’ roll rules in Helsinki as today, on August 15 Finnish music icon Andy McCoy returns to the spotlight at the legendary Hard Rock Café.
Andy McCoy, who is best known in his capacity as lead guitarist and songwriter for rock band Hanoi Rocks brings both his art and his music to the Hard Rock Café.
Together with his wife, actress, singer and artist Angela Nicoletti McCoy, the McCoys will present a selection of their latest artworks during Helsinki Art Night with an Art Extravaganza open to the public from 11am, August 15 until September 3.
Andy’s striking style is expressive and flamboyant, colourfully documenting the characters and riotous nature of his rock n’ roll lifestyle.
The last exhibition of McCoys art work was held in 2013 and generated a lot of public attention, attracting over 2500 visitors at the Cable Factory.
The exhibition will be open from 15.8 until 3.9.2019 and entry is free!
On opening night, coinciding with the Helsinki Art Night Event, Andy picks up his guitar for a live acoustic performance between 9pm-11pm.
