"The popular Family Sunday arrives again at Flow Festival on Sunday, 13th August.

Under 10-year-olds are welcome for free with ticket-carrying adults from 1pm to 5pm. Yoga, disco dancing and fun workshops are on offer for the youngest festival guests.

For several years, Flow Festival has wanted to take into consideration festival guests with children by arranging Family Sunday.

On Sunday, adults who have bought a ticket may bring along children under the age of ten to the festival area to feel the festival buzz, play, and enjoy music.

The Family Sunday has been a popular event every year, and this year the little festival visitors’ program has received special attention.

On Sunday Roots Helsinki will organise kids yoga on the Backyard’s green area. Skidit Disko, one of the initiators of the kids’ disco boom in Finland, will make kids dance away at Voimala.

The top dj’s playing music at Flow’s Skidit Megadisko are Darude and Orkidea, and Lieminen will perform live. MC Alina Kulo will entertain with games and music.

The well-known entertainment from the Skidit Disko will be even bigger and flashier this year at Flow. In addition to energetic music, the Skidit Megadisko is full of laser lights, games, soap bubbles and shimmering surprises.

The Habi Kids Design Workshop invites kids to play, design and create together. In the print studio, kids get to know the world of design through playing with colours.

As the workshop progresses, the patches made by kids will be stitched together into a huge collage.

Oatly and Novelle provide delicious oat drink products and fun mocktails, so thirst will not be an issue. At the Novelle bar, kids get to make their own mocktails and the Oatly bar has free fake tattoos.

In addition, the Riviera Cinema Bar is showing kids movies in the afternoon as a foretaste of the Riviera movie theatre’s upcoming Riviera Kids programme.

Flow Festival takes place in Helsinki's Suvilahti area on August 11–13 2017.

Flow Festival's confirmed partners for 2017 are main partner Lapin Kulta, partners Aalto University, American Express, Bright Finland, Finnair Plus, Lumo Apartments, Oatly, OP Financial Group, Paulig, Plan B, Stopteltat, Sun Effects and Zalando, as well as media partners Basso, Clear Channel, Helsingin Sanomat and Resident Advisor.
