Helsinki Outlet is a newly opened shopping village on the border of Helsinki and Vantaa. It is just 10 minutes away from the Helsinki Airport by car, making it an ideal place to do some shopping during a long layover between flights!
What is Helsinki Outlet?
The Helsinki Outlet shopping village opened on November 1st 2019 to much fanfare, which included a fireworks show and live performers. Excited crowds arrived early for a chance to win free giveaways before the gates to the new shopping village were opened.
The Outlet Village is an open-air shopping complex that is home to approximately 40 Finnish, Nordic and international brand-name stores. The concept is quite new in Finland, and it is the first of its kind in the metropolitan area.
Prices are always 30 to 70% less than the recommended retail prices.
Brands and Stores
Stores include high-end international and Finnish brands such as Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Luhta, Peak Performance and Marimekko. The store line-up consists mainly of fashion shopping, but also includes several outdoor and lifestyle stores.
The shopping village also contains a selection of cafes and restaurants, and in December opens Hop Lop, a large indoor play park to keep the kids entertained while you’re doing your shopping!
How to get there
Helsinki Outlet is located at Tatti 17, 00760 Helsinki, alongside Ring Road III (Kehä III) opposite IKEA Vantaa.
From the Helsinki-Vantaa airport it takes just 10 minutes by car, while from the city centre it takes around 25 minutes. Public transport also makes the shopping village easily accessible.
