Espoo Digi-Dance International (EDDI) is a collaborative effort by dancers and digital content creators in Espoo to inspire, cheer and encourage everyone through a festive event combining the joyful spirit of dance and digital technology.
The EDDI Festival includes both a digi-dance (instagram-style, mobile phone video clip) and a short dance-film competition.
Digi-Dance – Live Performances and Workshops
These two competitions culminate in a final event at the end of January 2021, when the finalists will be announced and professionally film-screened as part of the film festival.
A sub-event entitled “Everyone can Dance” for live digi-dance performances is scheduled for October 2021. More information can be found on their website at https://www.espoodigidance.com.
The event’s full itinerary will be published on their website closer to the date of the event.
To compliment these events, online dance workshops will be available soon, featuring outstanding dancers and choreographers from around the world. Make sure you take advantage of the opportunity!
Submit your entry!
Submissions via FilmFreeWay are open until 27.11.2020 and can be found via the links on our submit page. Please read the competition entry requirements first.
